EventX

EventX reads Windows system logs and groups significant entries by incidents. This makes it easier to interpret standard Event Viewer records and decide what to investigate next.

How to open

In the main menu, select Tools → EventX. After analysis, incidents are distributed across the Critical, Needs attention, and Information levels. For each entry, you can expand technical details and rerun the analysis.

How to work with the results

1. Start with incidents that coincide in time with a freeze, reboot, or crash.
2. Expand recurring entries and note the source, time, and event ID.
3. Cross-reference the event with a driver update, setting change, or application log.
4. Fix only the confirmed cause, then repeat the scenario and the analysis.

Events close in time may be consequences of a single issue. A time coincidence alone is not enough to establish a connection.

Do not uninstall a driver or disable a service based on a single event. Some errors are logged during normal recovery, device disconnection, or shutdown.
