What changes

The setting controls a group of VBS mechanisms in Windows 11 — by BoosterX’s visible name these are Memory Integrity, DeviceGuard, HVCI and Credential Guard. The actual set depends on the edition and configuration. In the “Enabled” position, according to the app’s description, BoosterX fully disables VBS and its child features. The “Disabled” position restores the default values: after that, VBS itself may not turn on.

The setting is shown only on Windows 11: on Windows 10 BoosterX hides it, and a separate setting VBS (Virtualization Based Security) is available instead. There is no separate Memory Integrity card on Windows 11 — the feature is part of this package.

App warning: BoosterX warns that when the package is disabled, the EAC and FaceIt anti-cheats may “complain” — demanding that the VBS features be restored. The procedure from the description: enable Windows Security, then Settings → Privacy & security → Windows Security → Device security → Core isolation details and enable “Memory integrity”.

On a corporate device, the parameters may be enforced by policy. Changing them without an administrator can violate security requirements and sign-in to work resources.

How to verify the result

After the change, restart the computer and open Settings → Privacy & security → Windows Security → Device security → Core isolation details: the state must match your choice. Make sure your organization’s policies do not override it.

How to change and revert

In BoosterX, open “Optimization” → “Security” → “Hardening (VBS/UAC)” → “VBS (Memory Integrity, DeviceGuard, HVCI, CG)” and move the toggle to the “Disabled” position: BoosterX will restore the Windows default values for the entire VBS package. Click “Apply” at the bottom of the page; with “Instant apply” enabled, the change is applied immediately. After applying, restart the computer and check core isolation via the path above. To fully disable VBS and its child features, use the “Enabled” position; to return to the default values — “Disabled” again and a restart.
