The category is named the same as in BoosterX. Some settings still work. Each page describes its action, recommendation and limitations.
Why this page is needed
Section titled “Why this page is needed”The “Legacy” page returns to default values what no longer works or makes things worse. At the top of the page there is a “Default” button (BoosterX explicitly marks it as recommended to press): it sets all legacy settings to their default state, after which you only need to apply the change.
It is useful to visit this page regularly, for example after major Windows or BoosterX updates, and press “Default” with applying: this way legacy tweaks do not accumulate in the system, even if you enabled them earlier or an old profile left them behind.

Even a working mechanism may not bring benefits in games. For these settings, the default state is almost always recommended. Deviating from it is worth it based on the results of diagnosing a specific problem.
