What changes

A right click in File Explorer and on the desktop immediately opens the full classic menu with all commands — the one Windows 11 hides by default behind the “Show more options” button. The shortened menu and the extra transition are no longer needed: top-level commands, extended items and commands from third-party programs are available in a single list.

Exceptions and differences

Applicability — Windows 11: in Windows 10 the menu is already classic, so the setting is hidden there. After applying, restart File Explorer or sign in again for the menu to change. If the shell changes significantly in future Windows builds, the setting may stop working — in that case, restore the default menu.

How to verify the result

Right-click a file in File Explorer and an empty spot on the desktop: the menu should open immediately in its full form, without the shortened list and the “Show more options” button. Check that the usual commands are available in the very first menu.

How to change and revert

In BoosterX, open “Optimization” → “Customization” → “Windows Shell” → “Context menu as in Windows 10” and turn on the toggle. Click “Apply” at the bottom of the page and restart File Explorer; with “Instant apply” enabled, the change is made immediately, but a shell restart is still required. To revert, turn off the setting and click “Apply” — the default Windows 11 menu returns.
