On the Optimization → Tasks tab, you can manage groups of Windows Task Scheduler tasks. A single toggle can affect several related tasks. The group names explain what these tasks are for.
Most tasks run on an event or schedule and do not create a constant load. Disabling prevents the launch and the associated resource costs. On a gaming PC, this helps avoid unwanted activity at a specific moment, but does not guarantee a universal FPS gain.
Diagnostics and analysis

On a verified system, diagnostics can be disabled and performed manually.
Removes a background task at system startup without changing network settings.
Disabling the repeated automatic Windows performance assessment.
System maintenance
Section titled “System maintenance”Automatic cleanup can be disabled if you clean manually on a regular basis.
Background drive maintenance: sector checking, automatic defragmentation.
Service reminders from Windows about support and backup setup.
Privacy and telemetry
Section titled “Privacy and telemetry”Insider Program tasks; on stable Windows they can be disabled.
Automatic updates of offline maps and location notifications.
Microsoft ecosystem
Section titled “Microsoft ecosystem”Disabling affects the installation of language components, settings synchronization and Windows Backup, Microsoft Store background tasks and Xbox cloud save synchronization.
Background installation of language components: speech, handwriting, OCR.
Transferring Windows settings and backing up settings between devices.
Background verification of Store app licenses and push installation from another device; updates are a separate setting.
Xbox cloud save synchronization; Game Bar is not affected.
Network and corporate features

Remote Assistance invitation; not RDP.
