What changes

Windows maintains a list of preferred languages — it lives in “Settings → Time & language → Language”. By default, the system builds an HTTP Accept-Language list from it, which websites and apps can use to choose content language and local offers. This setting blocks that list from being built and transmitted.

Exceptions and differences

The languages themselves are not removed from Settings — only their transmission is disabled. The browser still reports its own interface language, so websites will not become completely “language-agnostic”. The language list is one element of the digital fingerprint: without it, the browser profile looks more generic. There is no effect on games or FPS.

How to verify the result

Open a website that shows the request language and locale — for example, a page with request headers or the language settings in a web service. The languages from your Windows list should not appear; the list itself remains in place in “Settings → Time & language → Language”.

How to change and revert

In BoosterX, open “Optimization” → “Customization” → “Windows features” → “Website access to the language list” and set the toggle to “Enabled”: BoosterX will apply the block on language list transmission. Click “Apply” at the bottom of the page; with “Instant apply” enabled, the change takes effect immediately. To revert, set the toggle to “Disabled” and click “Apply” — the list is sent to websites again.
