What is on the tab
Section titled “What is on the tab”The adapter is selected from the list at the top; below, the advanced parameters of the current adapter are shown — for example RSS, Interrupt Moderation, Flow Control and power-saving parameters. Each parameter has a brief and a detailed description, a recommendation and a value selection: a list of options or an input field. At the top — “Default”, “Optimal” and “Low Latency” (both profiles are PRO), as well as “Refresh”; SHIFT-click applies the action to all adapters at once.
Recommendation
Section titled “Recommendation”The profiles are a deliberate compromise: “Optimal” smooths interrupt spikes, slightly increasing latency, “Low Latency” minimizes jitter at the cost of CPU load and increased DPC. Change parameters manually according to their description and check stability after changes; jitter is conveniently viewed in Internet Test. The adapter affects only its part of the route — further along the network its settings are powerless.
How to verify the result
Section titled “How to verify the result”After applying, check ping, packet loss, connection speed, as well as computer sleep and wake.
How to change and revert
Section titled “How to change and revert”The value is changed by selecting in the parameter row. To revert, click “Default”: a normal click returns the values of the current adapter, a click with SHIFT held — of all adapters.
