Path: Optimization → Nvidia Panel.

A list of NVIDIA driver 3D settings: antialiasing, texture filtering, Threaded Optimization, GPU power management, vertical sync, frame rate limit and others. A game is selected via the “Search for a game to configure” search — then the parameters are applied to its profile rather than globally. At the top — “Default”, “Optimal” (a prepared profile of recommended values), “Export” and “Import” for transferring settings, “Refresh”. Instant application is not available on this page — after changes, click “Apply”.

Start with “Optimal”, and change individual parameters only after reading their descriptions: locking the performance mode and disabling power saving can raise temperature and power consumption without an increase in FPS. When comparing, look at 1% low and frametime, not just average FPS — the methodology and limitations are in the GPU presentation and power study.

Run the same game scene before and after the change and compare 1% low, frametime and stability.

A parameter’s value is selected in its row, then “Apply” is clicked. “Default” returns the factory values: a normal click — for all profiles, a click with SHIFT held — only for the current one.
