What is on the tab
Section titled “What is on the tab”Three blocks. “MSI Mode” — devices that support Message Signaled Interrupts: name, driver, manufacturer, state and a mode toggle. “Unneeded devices” — devices for special tasks that usually sit idle. “Devices” — device groups: each one expands with “Show devices”, and you can disable a group or an individual device. At the top are the “Default”, “Optimal” and “Refresh” buttons; for the name, driver and manufacturer you can see exactly what changes.
Recommendation
Section titled “Recommendation”Enable MSI only for compatible devices and check stability afterwards. Disable only devices with a known purpose; devices with the word “Virtual” in the name may be needed by VMware, Sandbox and other virtualization tools. Device power saving is more often justified on a laptop — see USB and NVMe power research and keyboard port research.
How to verify the result
Section titled “How to verify the result”After a reboot, open Device Manager and check sound, network and input devices.
How to change and revert
Section titled “How to change and revert”Disabling and enabling are done with the toggle next to a device or group. “Default” returns all disabled devices to the enabled state — before experimenting, save the device names and driver versions.
