Trusted Run

Trusted Run launches a selected file in a privileged system context: the application directly describes this as executing files (exe, reg, bat, etc.) as TrustedInstaller — an account with the highest rights in the system. This is a tool for rare tasks that cannot be performed even with “Run as administrator”.

How to use

1. In the BoosterX main menu, open Tools → Trusted Run.
2. Select a file: with the “Select file” button, by dragging the file into the window, or by specifying a command in the “Enter a command to execute” field.
3. Check the file’s name, location and origin before launching.
4. Click “Run” and monitor the result: whether the command completed successfully and what state the system is in.

When to use

• for a trusted system tool that lacks ordinary administrator rights;
• for diagnosing an access error, if the developer’s instructions explicitly require a system context;
• for your own verified script with clear contents.

Trusted Run does not check the safety of a command. Because of the elevated rights, an erroneous command or malicious file causes more harm to Windows than with a normal launch. All actions are performed at your own risk.

Do not run downloaded tweaks, activators or unknown scripts. For everyday program launches, use the normal method or “Run as administrator”.

What to do in case of an unexpected result

1. Do not run other commands in succession.
2. Restart Windows and check the state of the system.
3. If the behavior persists — roll back to a restore point created before the launch.

Therefore, create a restore point or a backup of the affected data before the first launch.
