Windows Mobility Center

Recommendation
DependsOn a laptop it is better to leave it enabled: the center covers brightness, power and displays in a single window.
On a desktop PC the center is unavailable anyway, so disabling it changes nothing. Windows does not get any faster from this.

What changes
Section titled “What changes”Mobility Center is a quick-control window of a mobile PC, invoked from the Win+X menu. It gathers tiles: brightness, sound, battery status and power plan, external display connection, synchronization. The BoosterX setting disables the invocation of the center: the item disappears from the Win+X menu and other shell entry points, and the executable no longer opens the window.
Exceptions and differences
Section titled “Exceptions and differences”The center exists only on mobile devices — laptops and tablets; on a desktop PC it is unavailable even without the settings. Brightness and power control itself does not disappear: Windows Settings, physical keys and neighboring settings remain, for example «Old power selection menu». According to the BoosterX catalog, the setting is available in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
How to verify the result
Section titled “How to verify the result”On a laptop, press Win+X: before the change, the “Mobility Center” item opens a window with brightness and power tiles. After applying the item, it must not be in the menu, and launching the center window directly does not work.
How to change and revert
Section titled “How to change and revert”In BoosterX, open «Optimization» → «Customization» → «Windows features» → «Windows Mobility Center» and switch the toggle to “Enabled”: BoosterX will apply the disabling of the Mobility Center invocation. Click «Apply» at the bottom of the page; with «Instant apply» enabled, the change is applied immediately. To revert, switch the toggle to “Disabled”: BoosterX will return Windows to its default state — the item returns to the Win+X menu.
