What changes
Section titled “What changes”Reminder about apps for performance improvement is a Windows background task that periodically shows a notification in the Action Center asking to rate a recently used app. According to the visible BoosterX description, the purpose of the task is to collect user feedback on app performance and stability; this information may be used by Microsoft to identify issues. Once disabled, such notifications no longer appear.
Exceptions and differences
Section titled “Exceptions and differences”The task does not speed up apps and does not affect their performance — it only requests ratings. It is these invitations that disappear; other Action Center notifications and Windows system tips remain. Feedback can still be submitted manually, for example through the Feedback Hub app. A related feedback request mechanism is described in “Windows feedback and diagnostics”.
How to verify the result

How to change and revert
Section titled “How to change and revert”Open “Optimization” → “Privacy” → “Scheduler and background tasks” → “Reminder about apps for performance improvement”, and set the toggle to “Enabled”: BoosterX will apply the disabling of the reminder task. Click “Apply”. With “Instant apply” enabled, a separate button is not required. To revert, set the toggle to “Disabled” and apply the change again: BoosterX will return Windows to its default state with reminders working.
