What is on the tab
Section titled “What is on the tab”The tab collects startup items from different sources: registry keys, files in startup folders, Task Scheduler tasks and services. The list can be searched and filtered by these sources.
Each item shows its path, type and state: “Enabled”, “Disabled”, “Will be enabled” or “Will be disabled”. The toggle enables and disables an item, and the checkbox marks it for deletion.
At the top there are buttons:
- “Default” — enable all startup items;
- “Auto” — automatically select unnecessary items; a PRO license is required;
- “Add” — add your own file.
Recommendation
Section titled “Recommendation”Disable selectively what does not need to run at Windows sign-in. This can speed up sign-in and reduce background load. Update and telemetry items often contain “update”, “upd” or “telemetry” in their names, but before disabling, check the purpose of the specific entry.
Do not disable security, driver and launcher components with authorization without checking the consequences. If you are unsure about your choice, use the “Auto” button if you have a PRO license.
How to verify the result
Section titled “How to verify the result”Restart and check that the necessary programs started on their own: overlay, synchronization, antivirus, sound.
How to change and revert
Section titled “How to change and revert”A disabled item is returned by the same toggle; a deleted one can be added again with the “Add” button. The “Default” button enables all startup items at once.
