Cloud backup snapshots store BoosterX backup profiles online, tied to a key. The feature is available with a PRO license when connected to the service. Local snapshots remain on this PC; the cloud is needed for transfer and as a safety net.

  1. Open “Recovery” → the BoosterX tab.
  2. In the “Local” section, find the snapshot card and click “Upload to cloud”.
  3. Wait for the “Profile synced with cloud” status — it is also shown on the card after uploading.

Cloud profiles are visible in the “In the cloud” section: they can be downloaded or deleted. If a profile file with the same name already exists locally, BoosterX plainly reports “File already exists”.

  1. On the new computer, sign in with the same key and open “Recovery” → BoosterX → the “In the cloud” section.
  2. Click “Download” next to the desired profile — it will appear in the “Local” section.
  3. Open the profile with the “Open” button and review the preview: the “Setting” and “Now” columns.
  4. Consider the warning “Some settings are unavailable on this device and will not be applied”: unavailable parameters are skipped, the rest are applied with the “Apply now” button.
  5. Verify the result manually and, if necessary, make a local snapshot before applying.

A cloud profile may not suit another computer: before applying, compare the Windows version and edition, hardware, drivers and available components. Profiles from someone else’s or an old key are transferred via backup profile import.

Do not use a cloud snapshot as your only backup: version history in the cloud does not replace copies of important files, recovery keys and installation data — store them separately.
