Monitoring

Monitoring shows the readings of the available sensors: current values, minimum, maximum and average over the observation period. The set of parameters and categories depends on the hardware and drivers.

How to open and configure

Open Tools → Monitoring. You can change the refresh rate, expand the desired categories, configure the visible parameters, enable compact mode or move the monitor into a separate window.

Practical scenario

1. Reset the accumulated minimums and maximums before checking.
2. Leave visible the temperature, frequency, power and load of the desired component.
3. Launch a game or reproduce the workload.
4. Return to the monitor and compare the maximum with the moment of the problem.
5. When contacting support, copy the report without publishing unnecessary device identifiers.

The average value hides short spikes. With a rare refresh, the monitor may miss them, while too frequent polling creates additional load. For a long gaming check, use a moderate refresh rate.

Sensor limitations

If a sensor is absent, the temperature is unknown. Readings with the same names on different boards may be measured at different points. Do not equate the program’s readings with laboratory measurements on calibrated equipment.
