Restore

The Recovery section combines BoosterX backup snapshots and Windows restore points. On the BoosterX tab, you can save settings, open a snapshot for recovery, and compare states. On the Windows tab, system restore points are available.

What can be included in a snapshot

Depending on the selected options, the snapshot saves the Windows version, updates, hardware and BIOS, drivers, monitors, programs, processes, memory, services, games, Startup apps, background components, and “My Tweaks”.

Before creating a snapshot, select only the categories you need and consider privacy: the list of programs, processes, and devices may reveal information about your computer.

Comparison

In this section, you can compare snapshots, display only the differences, and view unavailable or corrupted entries. This lets you see what has changed. Determining whether a change caused an issue or improved FPS requires separate testing.

A snapshot does not contain a full disk image and is not a replacement for backing up your files. Store important data separately. Before applying changes, make sure the required snapshot opens correctly.
