Disable without printingIf the computer never prints, disabling stops an unnecessary service and reduces the attack surface of the printing subsystem.
Do not apply the setting if you need a printer, a scanner that depends on printing, or “Microsoft Print to PDF”.

What changes
Section titled “What changes”After a reboot, Windows does not start the Print Spooler service. The feature stops working; a measurable FPS gain does not follow from this.
How to check
Section titled “How to check”Make sure there are no print jobs you need and try your usual PDF saving scenario. If the application no longer sees the virtual or physical printer, revert the setting.
How to change and revert
Section titled “How to change and revert”Open “Optimization” → “Basic” → “Services and background processes” → “Print services” and set the toggle to “On”: BoosterX will disable the print service. Apply the changes and reboot the PC. To revert, set the toggle to “Off”: BoosterX will restore the standard print service, apply the changes and reboot again.
