Enable on a proven system with multiple Windows installations: switching to the second system without waiting for the boot menu.

Selecting an entry immediately restarts the PC. Unsaved data will be lost — close everything in advance.

What changes

In the BoosterX cascading menu on the desktop, a “Dual Boot” section appears with a list of installed systems. Selecting an entry immediately restarts the computer into the selected Windows once; the next boot returns to the default entry, as if you had simply selected it in the boot menu.

Exceptions and differences

The risk is direct: the restart happens immediately, without confirmation or autosave — open documents are lost. The item is visible only on a PC with multiple systems: on a single installation BoosterX hides the setting. The section selects the next boot and does not edit the boot configuration; if you have boot problems, use the standard Windows recovery — calling the command again does not fix it.

How to verify the result

Right-click the desktop and open the BoosterX menu: the “Dual Boot” section should show a correct list of your systems. Perform the full check with your data saved: selecting an entry goes straight to a restart, and the selected Windows is the one that boots.

How to change and revert

In BoosterX, open “Optimization” → “Customization” → “Context menu” → “Dual Boot in the context menu” and enable the toggle. Click “Apply” at the bottom of the page; with “Instant apply” enabled, the change is applied immediately. To revert, disable the setting and click “Apply” — the section disappears from the menu.
