The Steam tool gathers client settings that affect the library, interface, game features and background activity in one place. It does not modify game files and does not guarantee an FPS increase.
How to open
Section titled “How to open”In the BoosterX main menu, select Tools → Steam. Inside, the Settings and Launcher tabs are available.
Setting groups
Section titled “Setting groups”| Group | What can be changed |

| Library | low-performance and low-bandwidth modes, community content, compact display |
| Game features | Steam Overlay, game recording, downloads during gameplay, Remote Play |
| Interface | smooth scrolling, GPU acceleration of web views, hardware video decoding, animations |
| Account and startup | autorun, automatic sign-in to friends, account and start page selection |
| Advanced | shader precaching and background processing |
The Default, Optimal and Maximum profiles can be used as a starting point to check whether they suit you. When Overlay, recording, Remote Play or community content are disabled, the corresponding Steam features will be unavailable. Some changes only become noticeable after a full restart of the client.
Launcher
Section titled “Launcher”The “Launcher” tab creates a separate Steam shortcut with the selected launch scenario. Check the created shortcut before replacing your usual launch method, and keep the standard Steam shortcut.
