What changes
Section titled “What changes”A junk cleanup command appears in the BoosterX cascade menu on the desktop. Running it deletes the main temporary files and shows the result in the console window that opens: what was cleaned and how much space was freed. The action is performed only on demand — no background process is created.
Exceptions and differences
Section titled “Exceptions and differences”This is manual maintenance, not daily gaming optimization: some temporary files are recreated, and the first launch of applications after cleanup may take slightly longer. Before running it, close games, launchers and installers. The full section with file categories and result verification is «Cleanup».
How to verify the result
Section titled “How to verify the result”Run the command from the BoosterX menu and read the result in the window that opens: the cleaned categories and the freed volume are visible. Then check the free disk space and the launch of regular programs — nothing needed should be missing.
How to change and revert
Section titled “How to change and revert”In BoosterX, open «Optimization» → «Customization» → «Context menu» → «Junk cleanup in the context menu» and enable the toggle. Click «Apply» at the bottom of the page; with «Instant apply» enabled, the change is applied immediately. To revert, disable the setting and click «Apply» — the command will disappear from the menu.
