What is on the tab
Section titled “What is on the tab”A list of optional Windows components (Features) — for example IIS, Hyper-V, printing services, media and legacy components — each with a toggle to enable it. At the top are the “Default” (enables all components), “Optimal” and “Maximum” buttons (selection profiles; both buttons are PRO), as well as “Refresh” to re-read the list. The page requires working “Windows Update” services; changing components often completes only after a reboot, and if a component “does not change”, repeat after installing updates.
Recommendation
Section titled “Recommendation”For a gaming PC, “Optimal” is enough: the profile keeps the components that games and Store depend on, including .NET Framework 3 for older programs (without it, some games do not start or crash). “Maximum” disables more — including media and printing, so press it only if you definitely do not use these features. Disabling unused components frees up space and a little RAM if they were running in the background.
How to verify the result
Section titled “How to verify the result”After a reboot, check what you use: Microsoft Store, printing, Hyper-V and WSL, sound and updates.
How to change and revert
Section titled “How to change and revert”An individual component is enabled by its own toggle, all at once — by the “Default” button. Changes that could not be applied are saved by BoosterX for re-application.

Section titled “See also”- Microsoft Store does not start or is missing and WSL 2 — restoring dependent functions.
