Disable if you don’t use it

If you don’t open Game Bar and don’t record clips with Windows tools, disable these capture features you don’t need.

Keep the setting enabled for Win+G, widgets, background recording and system capture of game clips.

What changes

BoosterX disables Game Bar and background game video capture. Windows Game Mode is configured separately; this toggle does not affect it.

How to verify

After applying, check the Win+G shortcut and Windows capture settings. If you use OBS, Steam or a driver overlay, check them separately: the Game Bar setting does not disable third-party recording tools.

How to change and revert

Open “Optimization” → “Basic” → “Games and graphics” → “Game Bar” and set the toggle to “Enabled”: BoosterX will disable Game Bar and background game video capture. Then apply the changes. To revert, set the toggle to “Disabled”: BoosterX will restore the standard Game Bar features, and apply the changes again.
