PRO features

The PRO license unlocks additional BoosterX features. The current set is shown in the app on the PRO features page and in the descriptions of settings marked PRO.

What PRO gives you

The features page in the app lists under the heading “What’s included in BoosterX PRO”:

• curated and tested tweaks; how BoosterX Wiki verifies claims about the effects of settings is described in the research methodology;
• tweaks and profiles aimed at stability: fewer stutters and drops in the long term — the goal of these settings, not a guaranteed result;
• cloud profiles and backup snapshots: saving your profiles, version history and instant rollback — covered in detail in cloud backup snapshots;
• TweaX: generating tweaks for your PC’s configuration with the ability to save the result and apply it again — saved tweaks are collected in my tweaks;
• the “Tweaker mode” and “Show experimental features” toggles on the “Settings” page;
• the PRO role in Discord with early access to BETA builds and priority replies.

“Instant apply” is also unlocked: supported settings are applied immediately after toggling, and the “Apply” button is not required. The mode does not work with all actions and requires a restore point before enabling.

Limitations

PRO settings also require verification: read the description and the warning, make sure the setting suits your system, and learn how to undo it. Having PRO does not guarantee the benefit or safety of every tweak. The free part of the app continues to work without a license.

FAQ: what happens after the license expires

When the key’s term expires, the app shows the status “Key expired”, and PRO features are again marked as requiring activation. The license terms — validity periods, key binding and unbinding — are described at boosterx.org/en/pro/. What happens to already applied system settings after the term expires is not described separately there or in the app. For renewing and restoring a key there is a “Manage key” item (reset, restore, delete key).
