App settings

On the Settings page you configure BoosterX itself: which pages and metrics to show, modes for advanced users, and program updates. These toggles change the behavior of the application, not Windows settings directly.

How to open

The Settings item is located at the bottom of the main menu on the left. The page is grouped by categories; some toggles — for example, “Show experimental features” — belong to advanced modes.

Main groups

• Interface: “Always show detailed description”, “Show the list of first actions”, “Show profiles on the Optimization page” and “Mode for weak PCs” (reduces the number of animations).
• Optimization: “Tweaker mode”, experimental features, service groups, service manager, interrupts page and the advanced Nvidia panel.
• Tools: intro pages for StoreX, ProcessX, IFEO, Internet Test and PC Benchmark X.
• Main screen: metrics and “Allow Discord RPC”.
• Maintenance: “Show errors and send them to developers” and automatic BoosterX updates.

Visible effect of the toggles

• “Show GPU and CPU data on the main page”, “Show RAM information on the main page” and “Show disk information on the main page” — once enabled, the corresponding blocks appear on the main screen: RAM, disk, CPU and GPU data.
• “Tweaker mode” opens up additional capabilities: the “Hardcore” profile in quick methods, the “Delete all” button on the Debloat page, the “Maximum” button on the Cleanup and Devices pages and in service groups, the BIOS and Device Control pages in Tools, as well as real-time priorities in ProcessX. It does not apply anything automatically by itself.
• Disabling the display of the intro page does not disable the tool itself.

Reverting to defaults

1. Open “Settings” and turn off the toggles you enabled — one by one.
2. Check the visible effect: a hidden metrics block disappears from the main screen immediately.
3. Application settings are reverted individually; there is no separate button for a full page reset. System changes made through optimization are not undone by these toggles — for those, use backup snapshots.

Instant apply

The “Instant apply” mode is available with PRO and should be used with caution: supported settings are applied immediately after toggling, without an “Apply” button. Create a restore point before enabling it. The mode does not work with all actions: for example, it is unavailable on the Nvidia Panel, Components and Interrupts pages.
